One-Year Installation Warranty

At MDM Stoneworks, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We are committed to delivering professional installation services and ensuring your project is completed to the highest standards. This Limited One-Year Installation Warranty outlines the coverage provided for our installation services.

Warranty Coverage

MDM Stoneworks, LLC warrants that the installation services we perform will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of Substantial Completion, which is the date the installation is considered complete and ready for its intended use.

This warranty applies only to installation services performed by MDM Stoneworks, LLC.

What Is Covered

During the warranty period, MDM Stoneworks will repair or correct, at our sole discretion, defects resulting from:

  • Improper workmanship performed by MDM Stoneworks.

  • Defects in materials supplied and installed by MDM Stoneworks, subject to any applicable manufacturer warranties.

If a covered defect is confirmed, MDM Stoneworks will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or another corrective action.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from:

  • Improper use, abuse, negligence, vandalism, or accidents.

  • Failure to properly maintain the installed materials, including recommended cleaning, sealing, or maintenance.

  • Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic imperfections, scratches, fading, staining, or natural weathering.

  • Structural movement, settling, shifting, expansion, contraction, or cracking of the building or substrate.

  • Water intrusion or moisture issues caused by conditions outside MDM Stoneworks' scope of work.

  • Defective or deteriorated existing structures, framing, walls, foundations, or substrates.

  • Modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by anyone other than MDM Stoneworks.

  • Materials supplied by the customer or a third party.

  • Damage caused by severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flooding, acts of God, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

  • Manufacturer defects, which remain subject solely to the manufacturer's warranty.

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products installed by MDM Stoneworks are covered by separate manufacturer warranties.

Where applicable, any manufacturer warranty will be passed through to the customer. MDM Stoneworks does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer for product defects.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe a warranty issue exists, please contact us in writing before the expiration of the warranty period.

Please include:

  • Your name and project address

  • The approximate installation date

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs, if available

The customer agrees to provide MDM Stoneworks with reasonable access to the property for inspection and any approved warranty work.

Conditions of This Warranty

This warranty is valid only if:

  • The installation has been paid for in full.

  • The installed products have been properly maintained.

  • The installation has not been altered, repaired, or modified by others.

Failure to meet these conditions may void this warranty.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by MDM Stoneworks for installation services.

MDM Stoneworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, loss of business, or damage to other property.

Under no circumstances shall MDM Stoneworks' total liability exceed the amount paid for the installation services giving rise to the warranty claim.

Transferability

This warranty is provided exclusively to the original purchaser of the installation services and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed to in writing by MDM Stoneworks.

Governing Law

This Warranty shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana.

Acceptance of Warranty

This Installation Warranty is incorporated by reference into all proposals, estimates, contracts, work orders, invoices, and service agreements issued by MDM Stoneworks, LLC.

By accepting a proposal or estimate, signing a contract or work order, authorizing MDM Stoneworks to perform installation services, or submitting payment for installation services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Installation Warranty.

This Warranty constitutes the entire installation warranty provided by MDM Stoneworks, LLC and supersedes any prior oral statements or representations regarding warranty coverage. No employee, representative, or agent of MDM Stoneworks has the authority to modify or expand this Warranty unless such modification is made in writing and signed by an authorized officer of MDM Stoneworks, LLC.

MDM Stoneworks, LLC reserves the right to revise or update this Warranty Policy at any time. Any revisions shall apply only to installation services contracted after the date such revisions are published. Installation services performed under previously executed agreements shall remain subject to the Warranty Policy in effect at the time those services were contracted.
